Safety & Certification
Consistent product quality
Certified strength and reliability
Norbord panels conform to all structural panel requirements of the OSB Japanese Agricultural Standard (JAS). They are certified in conformance with JAS by APA – The Engineered Wood Association, a third-party quality assurance company and Japanese government-registered overseas certification body.
Built-in quality
Norbord OSB is not produced from wood particles, chips or waste from the processing of other timber products. It is made with natural strands of wood cut out from logs by precision industrial blades. These intact wood strands, which offer trees the rigidity to withstand Western Canada’s elements, are what provide added strength to Norbord OSB panels.
